Benjamin Bankson Ordained

On Sunday March 28th, 2010, during the evening service, Benjamin J Bankson, the son of Pastor Doug Bankson, was ordained as a minister. Also present was Apostle Mike Keyes who was the guest minister speaking to the congregation that day. During the ordination, Pastor Doug read a letter from Rev Cary K. Gordon, Benjamin’s mentor while he served at Cornerstone Church in Sioux City, Iowa. After Pastor Doug spoke words of encouragement as well as  words of warning and wisdom, he had all the ordained ministers from Victory Church come and lay hands on the young minister. Benjamin was 21 years old.

On March 26-27th, Victory Church hosted Apostle Mike Keyes at our going higher men’s conference. Apostle Keyes ministered incredible things to the men on who we are as christians and what our purpose is. He then ministered to the whole congregation that Sunday, March 28th.
